Where were you when the stock market crashed?
Okay, the year was 2008, now 15 years later I was asked where I was when the real Great Depression hit. Well I was at home, I know, I should have been in class, hello it was just after noon on a weekday, but I was skipping. I had just gotten a new TV (hello, hadn't watched TV in like eight weeks. I need a fix.) Okay well I was sitting there watching FOX NEWS waiting for a re-run of a past fave TV show of mine to start (fyi Crossing Jordan, back when TV was good,) anyway, It was coming up on the hour when FOX started reporting the DOW was falling, and that stocks were being sold off so fast that they couldn't keep up with the numbers. (Let's just say that I didn't catch Crossing Jordan that day, I didn't see that show for another four years, or any show for that matter. ) By the end of the day there was mass chaos, stuff was fly off the selves so fast that we all got whip lash. The World came to a standstill that day, and life was changed forever. It was reported that over three thousand people committed suicide that day, with thousands more in the following days. People died of starvation. Heck, I was really sick, I wasn't as prepared as I thought I was (Though I did reach my goal weight. Not in a good way though.) That was the beginning of what for the next three and a half years would be the Greatest Depression of all time, and life truly was never the same after that....Here 15 years later, I don't know if we've fully recovered yet. We are all more careful with our money, we have stocked fridges and pantry's. Money hidden everywhere, including under the mattress, and in shoe boxes. We don't trust banks. TV is not something we are obsessed with anymore (that has more to do with the fact that all TV shows, and most movies suck every worse then they did in the first decade of the 21st century.) But life sure is different. Nothing like it was back when I was 22.
Okay crazy future thingy is done. And now I go back to watch TV online on Hulu, truly obsessed
with what will no doubt be humanity's downfall. And Shalom.
Obama's Terrorist connections? Naive or liar.

Bailout Passes Senate
Bailout Passes Senate 74-25
Treasury’s $700 billion rescue plan for the financial markets passed the Senate Wednesday night, giving the White House new confidence it has turned the corner and can win final approval from Congress by Friday.
Senator John McCain and Barack Obama both supported the bill.Shady Obama Ties
Also check out their website The Barack Book, mocking both Obama and facebook, which it
looks like. Funny love it.
Sometime Hollywood is RIGHT!
Talks about how there are really conservatives in Hollywood, though there aren't many and they tend to be hushed. There should be more and they should speak up
Pelosi Used Political Donations...for something not right
Pelosi paid husband with PAC funds, using $99,000 for rent, utilities, accounting fees.
Great House Leader there ma'am.
Yeah well, some people really shouldn't be anything but a treasurer, shelling out the cash that needs to be shelled out. Not being a house leader in the United States Congress.I've always thought she was too sneaky and scary.......a disgrace to women everywhere, she should get booted out of office and into jail.
Make and example out of her I say.
Right man? No Free speech stopper 2
Obama, Not Bush, The Quasi-Fascist on Free Speech
Barack Obama poses as a champion of true American values. He sees himself as "a symbol of the possibility of America returning to our best traditions."
In reality, though, Barack Obama is just another in a long line of Chicago-style, free speech-squelching political thugs springing from the festering pit of Democratic machine politics.
His rhetoric quashes debate. For all his talk about Americans uniting, he's not afraid to attribute opposition to his candidacy to xenophobia -- people who think he has a "funny name" or that he "doesn't look like all those other presidents on those dollar bills."
His supporters run roughshod over legitimate criticisms of Obama. "I want you to argue with them and get in their face," Obama tells his backers. They listen. In August, Obama encouraged his followers to shut down the WGN Chicago radio appearance of National Review reporter Stanley Kurtz. Obama's supporters were issued talking points and told to call into the station in order to plug the lines. They dutifully did so. Obama's minions duplicated the feat with David Freddoso, author of "The Case Against Barack Obama." Spurred to action by a mass e-mail from the Obama campaign -- an e-mail labeling Freddoso a "vicious" slanderer specializing in "hate-mongering" -- the Obama supporters jammed the WGN phone lines, forcing the show to a standstill.
Most importantly, though, his legal team threatens anyone who doesn't support the One with lawsuits and prosecution.
This week, two state prosecutors in Missouri proclaimed that they were joining an Obama "truth squad." Jennifer Joyce and Bob McCulloch, the top prosecutors in St. Louis, city and county, respectively, announced that they would "respond immediately to any misleading advertisements and statements that might violate Missouri ethics law." The Obama camp claimed that Joyce and McCulloch were not threatening prosecution -- but the invocation of Missouri ethics law says otherwise. Use of such law to prosecute political opponents would be blatantly unconstitutional.
This is hardly the first time the Obama campaign has attempted to trample the First Amendment by unleashing the subpoena squad.
In August, the American Issues Project released an ad tying Obama to American terrorist Bill Ayers. Obama's team responded by calling on the Justice Department to begin "an investigation of the American Issues Project; its officers and directors; and its anonymous donors, whoever they may be." The next day, Obama's legal advisors sent another letter to the Justice Department, this time demanding that Harold Simmons, the chief funder of the AIP, be prosecuted for "knowing and willful violation of the individual aggregate contribution limits."
In September, the National Rifle Association aired an ad targeting Obama for his opposition to the Second Amendment. Obama's legal team sent letters to stations airing the ad, stating, "For the sake of both FCC licensing requirements and the public interest, your station should refuse to continue to air this advertisement."
Obama says he opposes the so-called Fairness Doctrine, which would force radio stations to air both liberal and conservative viewpoints, essentially shutting down talk radio, or turning it into NPR. But should the American public believe he won't reverse himself on the Fairness Doctrine to shut down his political critics? Obama has been known to "reconsider" positions in his time: offshore drilling, Israel's undivided capital in Jerusalem, public financing, meeting dictators without preconditions, branding Iran's Revolutionary Guard a terrorist organization, illegal immigration, decriminalization of marijuana, running for president in 2008, NAFTA, clean coal and Jeremiah Wright, to name just a few. IN FACT IT IS DIFFICULT TO NAME A SINGLE POSITION OBAMA HAS NOT PARSED.
Except for one position, that is: Barack Obama fervently believes that Barack Obama must never be attacked for any reason. All criticism is illegitimate. Furthermore, it should be illegal.
Liberals have told us for eight years that President Bush is a Hitlerian tyrant intent on stopping political debate. For eight long, unceasingly acrimonious years, liberals have called Bush a murderer and a traitor. They have that right -- and the fact that Bush has not sought to undermine that right demonstrates his commitment to the First Amendment.
Obama's commitment to the First Amendment, by contrast, extends only to those who agree with him. He'll use any means at his disposal to stop his opponents. If Barack Obama has his way, all criticism of his presidency will end on January 20, 2009. The Messiah must not be
questioned.

SNL: Real News?
Creepy Singing
Using kids to get your 'message' across, that's really sad.

Quotes from Gov. Blunt “What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment..." and
"This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election..."

McCain's Anniversary
35 years ago, tomorrow, he was released from North Vietnamese capcacity, after five and a half years.
This is the man that should be President.
He's the best man for the job.
More on McCain at a later date
BO's Pastor
It speaks to the psyche of the man. Of what, scary enough, could be the next President of the United States.
This speaks of who Obama will align himself with. If this is the person who he basically loves, and who he hangs out with, then this shows so much about the man. He can be President if he thinks that this America hating, racist, person, who doesn't even deserve to be a Pastor, and aligned with g-d, and despite my lack of belief in him, Jesus. I believe in Freedom of Speech wholeheartedly, but this, not freedom of speech. He is spreading hate to the people under the banner of g-d, and that is wrong.
If this pastor and even Obama himself are so good, these things wouldn't have been said, and Obama would have waited until the last possible moment to denounce the man.
This 'Pastor' is spreading hate. And he is supposed to be a man of g-d. I don't know, if this is Obama's spiritual leader, then it says a whole lot about Obama as a man, and who could be the next President of the United States. I think that what he has been saying should be very important to looking at who Obama is as a man. If this is what he has been hearing for 20 years there is no way that this hate is not inside of him now.
Obama is supposed to be the great next President. He is supposed to untie the races, be a person where race doesn't matter, a post-racial President. But how can he be all these things when he's 'mentor' the person who introduced him to Jesus, is a racist, white-person hater. Who would like to basically see America, under the whites fall, and rise again under the black population. Maybe he'd like to see us die, or become slaves. Can't say for sure, but that is what he hate speech screams to me.
But what do I know. I'm a white girl, who has never faced prejudice. Despite being poorer then poor. And despite the fact that everyone I knew as a kid is surprised that a poor kid from the inner-city is in college. They all thought I'd have a kid or something. Have thrown my life away.
Sorry went off on a tangent there. But the point is we all face prejudices in our lives, and like someone insightful once said, 'White's are the only racist people.' Anyone can spread hate, and this Pastor, has done just this.
That is why Obama can't be President, because hate is always ingrained into a person, and after twenty years, and case in point, comments his wife made, this hate he has subjected himself too for all this years is inside him. Inside of his head, his cells, and now pasted on.
He can't be President, unless we want a country filled with even more hate and disconnection then it is now.

Sex and Politics
A morally bankrupt hypocrite, hound-dog.
All he was looking for was a good time.
But what gets me is that people are defending him.
Hello, aside from the moral and ethic problems with this.
IT'S ILLEGAL TO PAY FOR SEX. A FELONY.
Yeah when he cheats, fine, it's not right, but that's his f**ken business, but committing a felony, that should be everyone's business. But I guess not.
Like I said over on the sugar network: And what I am outraged about is that people are defending this piece of trash.
Yes well those people are lacking morally, ethically and a sense of legality.
And his wife,.....'Standby your man'....what a loser.
She should stand up for herself and her three daughters.
Walk away. Be a woman, be someone that your daughters can be proud of.
Show them that an adult in their life has some sense of morals, some sense of brains, and a backbone. Democrats are supposed to be for women's rights, hah.
Women's rights, yeah staying with your cheating, lying, felony committing, sex having husbands. YEP, that shows that woman are independent. Hmmm at one of this husband keeping woman is supposed to be the next President...yeah that's what we need a weak woman, who stands by her man just to get elected.
But back to the Governor of New York, and he should have reigned and I'm damn glad he got caught. Now the people of the world have to stop defending him, and defending the biological urge, and saying that prostitution should be legalized. NO. We should stop defending and rationalizing this, and all of this shit. Stand up for the woman who are affected and stop standing up for the man who can't keep it in their pants.
Oh, and yeah, let's remember that his girls lives are changed forever because their father basically abandoned them. They have had their world fall down on them. Their 'Hero' he ruined their world, and it will never be the same again. And there will be nothing that can undo that. Until people have been in a situation like this, they'll never know.
DON'T DEFEND! DON'T RATIONALIZE IT! REALIZE THAT HE'S TRASH, AND REMEMBER THE PEOPLE THIS RUINED.

Objectiveness
In one of my Politics' class' there is a guy who is a Conspiracy theorist.
Let me just say that they should throw him in a padded room, he's that out of it.
But yesterday in class we were talking about objectiveness and he said that he was objective.
HELLO...DUDE...if you believe your objective, your not.
As one of the other students said, objective people don't say they are objective.
Well, that's my word.
And let's just say, I am not objective, and I'll admit that.
But I am RIGHT.
