Christmas

The idea of christmas is physically revolting to me. I mean the actual idea of celebrating the birth of some dude aside. The 'holiday' if you can even call it that, is over commericalized. The idea of standing in line to pay and arm and a leg for some cheap piece of crap that could have lead and kill a person or a kid. But that is a whole other interconnected story, that I'll mostly likely get to at another time. But it is a time of year when people should be spending time with their families. Enjoying the end of the end. Relaxing. But no, we act like sheep being lead to the slaughterhouse. Ready to be slaughtered like the sheep as we stand mindlessly in line ready to shell out hundreds, maybe thousands of dollars of stupid gifts that people will smile at and saw they like, when in reality, they are shoved in the back of a closest until they can be re-gifted. Or ignored all together. I guess I could never see the point in the mindless holiday. Another change to gorge. That's a thing to celebrate. Then there is the shmoozing with relatives, that aren't really relatives, or the real relatives that you hate. Or hardly know, despite the fact you live a stone's throw away. Then there is the gift giving. You have to get something for someone. It's expected of you, even though you you're self don't get one. Because, you're all grown up and only kids get presents. So you are in line looking for the perfect gift. Paying for this gift to only make the rich liberals richer. Who then give this money to fund their friends campaigns. Theses are the people who don't believe in Christ, or god, or maybe any religion. Yet, they profit off the backs of those that vote for them. Those that they say should be helping. So Christmas, for me, this is my last year. I refuse to be one more person, putting my money into the hands of the liberals. And I refuse to give into the commercialism of this stupid holiday anyway.

Intro

Okay, so I'm a Poly-sci major in college. All I have ever thought about was politics, I've lived and breathed it since the six grade. Well, maybe a little bit before that. I'm Canadian, but that wouldn't stop me from writing about other political issues in other countries. But for the most part I will be ranting about politics in Canada and the United States. If you want to say something, say it. But don't be callous or malice or just mean. I'm a person too, and if you can say something without resorting to name calling or more swear words then a sailor, it's fine by me, we all have our own opinions. As the title says, I'm right. I don't mean right as you are wrong, I mean right politically, had to make sure that was clear. I'm a right-winger, Republican, conservative. But that's not to say that I agree with them on everything, who does. I will sometimes, maybe, it's not fully decided yet, go off topic if an issue really bugs me. And I can't promise that it will be academic, because, who has the time to do the research as a full time college student, but I'm anal-retentive, so it probably will for the most part, but that's just a little disclaimer, just in case. But I intend to stay on politics, because, for being right is the right way to do things, and that's just who I am and what I am.
